# Verify a completed MNDA

Check that a PDF is the exact completed mutual NDA that MNDAtoday produced. The file stays on your device.

## A match proves that the file did not change.

A match proves that the file is byte-for-byte the completed PDF that MNDAtoday produced.

A change to one byte of the file gives a different hash. A changed file does not match.

MNDAtoday keeps the hash of each completed PDF. The check works after MNDAtoday deletes the PDF file.

Your browser computes the SHA-256 hash of the file. The file never leaves your device. MNDAtoday receives only the hash.

Each completed PDF carries a digital signature from "MNDAtoday Document Seal".

PDF readers show this signer as not trusted. MNDAtoday issues its own certificate, and PDF readers do not include this certificate.
